Our Accountability Process
We (Cliff and Charity) were invited into an accountability process in January 2023. Since that time we have been actively participating in restorative justice and accountability. Part of accountability includes realizing that our shadows often lurk in the unconscious.
In addition to accountability coaching, we’ve had numerous peer interactions, education in trauma informed practice, therapeutic interventions, and trainings related to power and oppression dynamics. We invite all who desire further information to review the details related to our accountability process which are outlined in our blogs which are all listed below.
Transparency is a core part of healing and accountability, and we invite any who have questions or desire to share information about any experiences of harm with us to contact our Accountability Coach Miles Hurwitz or our third-party Accountability Supervisor Kamela Love with Transform into Love or on LinkedIn by completing our External Accountability Form.
We discontinued offering events on February 1, 2023, and are currently in the second phase of our accountability process including supervised practice. As of the date of this posting, (August 30, 2024) Empowered Pleasure is not open for business. All updates on future plans are included in our blog (link below) where you can register for future updates.
Below you will find links to our Statement of Apology and Accountability, all our blogs, and the original Restorative Justice report if you wish to read the words of survivors.
