What is Tantra Yoga Meditation (TYM)? Tantra = weaving (not sex); Yoga = union.
TYM is a mantra meditation based on Transcendental Meditation (TM) that helps unlock energy, creativity, intelligence, and profound inner calm — all the attributes we need to not just survive during these times, but to truly thrive.
In the TYM course, you learn how to effortlessly transcend — go beyond the surface level of thinking. This state of deep inner silence is the key to expanding your awareness, developing more fulfilling interpersonal relationships, improving your physical health, and utilizing more of your human potential.
The technique's benefits start right away and keep growing as you continue the 20-minute, twice-per-day practice. Hundreds of independent research studies have found major increases in calmness, creativity, energy, clarity of mind, health, and happiness.
How is TYM different from other meditation techniques?
1. Personalized instruction - the technique is not "one size fits all."
2. Absolutely effortless
• No trying to "empty the mind"
• No mindfulness (monitoring of thoughts)
• No concentrating or controlling the mind
• Anyone can do it — even if you "can't meditate"
3. Evidence-based - hundreds of research studies have found the technique to be highly effective for stress-related conditions, brain function, and cardiovascular health.
COMPARING TECHNIQUES
Many meditation techniques are available today. Contrary to common belief there are distinct differences between them, such as effort involved, impact on the brain, and whether results are verifiable.
A study published in the journal Consciousness and Cognition identified the following 3 meditation categories, based on measured brain wave differences:
• Concentration or focus: Zen, Vipassana, etc.
• Open monitoring: Mindfulness, Kriya Yoga, etc.
• Self-transcending: TYM and TM

“Research on meditation has shown a wide range of psychological benefits. A 2012 review of 163 studies that was published by the American Psychological Association concluded that TM had relatively strong effects in reducing anxiety, negative emotions, trait anxiety and neuroticism while aiding learning, memory and self-realization.” Huffington Post

THE STEPS TO LEARN TYM
1. Free 90-minute introductory talk (in-person or online) where you’ll learn
• How the technique cultivates inner peace and self-actualization
• Why it’s so effective for relieving stress and anxiety
• What happens during the practice
• Why anyone can do it
• Why it works from the start
2. In-person instruction in the technique – 90 minutes. Your fee is paid at this step.
3. Two group follow-up sessions – 90 minutes each (in-person or online). These must be taken on the two days following your personal instruction and are to ensure that you are meditating correctly and have all your questions answered.
4. 8-14 day follow-up session – 90 minutes (in-person or online). This is to make sure your practice is easy, enjoyable, and beneficial.
YOUR HOST
Cliff, MSC, 1st profession was 20+ years of teaching meditation to 2,500 people all over the world (Iran, India, Philippines, Switzerland, US). He began studying Tantra in 1998 with Alan Lowen, and is a graduate of Alan's 2-year Body, Heart & Soul Training (www.artofbeing.com).
